Rachel M Thornton is an emerging artist and curator of settler origins currently residing on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik Nations (Sigenigteoag/Sackville, NB). Her fascination with understanding the cosmos has manifested itself as drawings, book works, performances and online projects.

She holds a BFA with distinction from Mount Allison University, Sackville NB and is an MA Fine Arts Candidate at the Open College of the Arts, Barnsley, UK.

Rachel works as Curator of Digital Engagement at the Owens Art Gallery.
